What is a teaser trailer?

A teaser trailer is a sampler of a film production. The purpose of this is to basically give a taste of the production, in effect this will grab the attention of the audience making them anxious and excited to see the film production after the release. Teaser trailers are often between 30 seconds - 1.30 minutes plus, this is shorter in length than your average film trailer. Tease trailer predominately build up anticipation within the audience however don’t often show any film footage.

- 1:10 in length
- Uses actual film footage
- Movement to the sound of a camera shutter speed
 
 
 Evil Dead:
 
- 1 minute in length
- Makes reference to 1981 Evil Dead
- Variety of slow and fast motion
- Explicit content (blood and gore)
                       
 Human Centipede 
 
- 1 minute in length
- No actual film footage
- Use of audience reactions
